Year 1 Maths Home Learning Week beginning 1st March 2021

Hi Year One,

I hope you are all okay at home. Please keep sending your super work so that I can see how you are getting on and give you some feedback. I really cannot wait to see you all on Monday 8th March. It will be fantastic to be back in the classroom together again.

This week in our maths lessons, you will be counting to fifty, comparing and ordering numbers up to fifty and counting in twos, fives and tens. For every lesson, you will need a number square to 50. I have included a number square to 50 in Monday’s lesson. A great idea would be to make your own number square to 50 using the picture to help you. You will then be able to use this is your lessons this week.

Thursday is World Book Day, this means we will not be completing a maths lesson on this day, as our day will be dedicated to reading and sharing our love of books. You will be working from our class English blog on this day.

I look forward to hearing how you get on this week. Our class zoom is on Monday afternoon at 1:30pm.

Speak to you soon and see you next week!
