Monday

Starter: Tina has £3.00.

She buys an apple for £1.20.

She also buys a chocolate bar.

Tina receives £1.10 change. How much was the chocolate bar?

Lesson: Marathon Training.

Arithmetic Lesson : Today we are looking at our 12 times table. We will focus on partitioning in order to find the answer.

Task 1: Can you write your 12 times table.

Task 2: Can you successfully partition these multiplication questions?

12x8, 16x8, 19x4, 11x8, 13x7, 16x6. Challenge? 22x7, 24x6, 28x3, 34x6, 42x5.

Tuesday

Starter: Can you order these measurements from smallest to the largest?

10mm, 5cm, 3cm, 40mm, 5m, 1km, 80mm, 10cm

Lesson: Stamps.

Wednesday

Starter: Can you write the Roman Numerals for the following numbers? Remember 1 = I, 5 = V, and X=10.

3, 4, 12, 7, 15, 29, 18.

Lesson: Ribbons.

Thursday

Starter: Can you round these numbers to the nearest 10? Remember look at the number in the ones column, if it is 5 or more it rounds up, and 4 or lower rounds down.

22, 28, 74, 79, 243, 365, 389.

Lesson: Money bags (part 1).

Friday

Starter: Using addition, subtraction, multiplication or division. Can you make the number 28? See if you can make the product or answer of 28 at least ten times.
