Year 3

Welcome from Miss Leedham!

Hello and a big welcome to all children, parents, and carers! My name is Miss Leedham, and I’m delighted to be the Year 3 class teacher this year, alongside our wonderful teaching assistant, Miss Bradley. This is my second year teaching, and I’m so excited to bring my love of learning into the classroom. I especially enjoy reading (fantasy stories are my favourite) and I can’t wait to share this passion with the class. I also love exercising and look forward to bringing lots of energy, fun, and positivity to our learning.

This year, Year 3 will be exploring an exciting range of topics, from fascinating history projects (like the Stone Age) and creative art opportunities to hands-on science investigations and engaging writing and maths challenges. In our classroom, we value teamwork, kindness and resilience.  I aim to create a space where every child feels confident to grow, explore, achieve their very best and dream big!

We’ll also enjoy enrichment opportunities such as trips, and special events that help bring our learning to life. These include: a special Stone Age day in school and a trip to the Adventure Farm to investigate plants.

I’m really looking forward to an amazing year ahead and can’t wait to see all the brilliant things Year 3 will achieve together!
