Year 4
Welcome from Miss Fitzgerald!
Welcome to our Year 4 class page! My name is Miss Fitzgerald, and I am delighted to be teaching Year 4 this year. Having previously taught in Year 1, I am really excited to be continuing my journey at Winshill Village and supporting the children as they move through Key Stage 2.
Year 4 is an exciting and important year, where children continue to build on their knowledge and skills while developing greater confidence, independence and responsibility for their own learning. Throughout the year, we will explore a wide range of interesting topics and provide plenty of opportunities for children to investigate, ask questions, be creative and challenge themselves.
I am passionate about making learning engaging and enjoyable and encouraging every child to believe in themselves and achieve their very best. I particularly enjoy seeing children develop their confidence, discover new interests and feel proud of everything they accomplish.
I am really looking forward to getting to know the children and seeing them grow, both academically and personally, as we share new experiences and take on exciting challenges together.
I’m really looking forward to an amazing year ahead and can’t wait to see all the brilliant things Year 4 will achieve together!
