Year 4

Welcome from Miss Tomlinson!

Hello and a big welcome to all children, parents, and carers! My name is Miss Tomlinson, and I’m delighted to be the Year 4 class teacher this year, alongside our wonderful teaching assistants, Mrs Cox and Mr Nye. This is my 3rd year of teaching but my first at Winshill Village! Interestingly, Winshill Village was the Primary School I attended! I am so excited to bring my love of learning to the classroom and share this with you.

This year, Year 4 will be exploring an exciting range of topics, from fascinating history units and creative art opportunities to hands-on science enquiries and engaging writing opportunities. In our classroom, some of the key values we follow are respect, effort and belonging.  I aim to create a space where every child feels confident to grow, explore, and achieve their very best and dream big!

We’ll also enjoy enrichment opportunities such as trips and special events that help bring our learning to life.

I’m really looking forward to an amazing year ahead and can’t wait to see all the brilliant things Year 4 will achieve together!
